Thank you for being part of the 2026 Lighting the Way Conference and for investing your time in learning, reflection and connection. It was a privilege to share the experience with you.

Choosing to take part in professional development is a meaningful investment in yourself. It is also a gift to the students, colleagues and school communities whose lives you touch. A new perspective, a thoughtful conversation or a small change in practice can have an impact far beyond the conference room.

Through your patience, encouragement and care, you help students feel seen, supported and capable. You notice the small things, celebrate progress and offer reassurance when learning or life feels difficult. The difference you make may not always be immediately visible, but it matters.

I hope the conference offered something valuable for you, too: encouragement, connection, fresh possibilities and a reminder that your own growth and wellbeing deserve care.
